SuperConscious! Seeing With Three Eyes.

SuperConscious! is the theme of September’s Tai Chi Alchemy in Sedona. The idea was central to my talk at the Society for Consciousness Studies Conference in June, and it has been at the core of my research for a long time. This is a continuation of a discussion begun in two recent posts: “Awareness vs. Consciousness” and “Conscious and Preconscious.” If you haven’t checked them out recently, I recommend you do so before going on. It’s ok. I’ll wait. Some will recognize the idea of “Seeing with Three Eyes” from Chapter Six of Taijiquan: Through the Western Gate: Eye… Read More

Tai Chi Alchemy in Sedona: SuperConscious!

The 23rd Annual Tai Chi Alchemy is just around the corner, September 15-17. There is still time to save $50.00 by registering by August 1. Early registration helps a lot. The nice folks at Mago have to plan ahead and so do we. It’s $500.00 for a shared room, $600. for a private after August 1. Cost covers tuition, room, and meals from Friday dinner to Sunday 3pm. This theme this year is SuperConscious! I have been exploring how to move quickly and easily to transnational/transpersonal states and how to deepen them in your practice. It’s an idea I presented at the… Read More

Tai Chi Alchemy in Sedona- September 16-18!

Sedona Drone Footage from BumbleMedia on Vimeo. It’s hard to believe, but our 22nd Tai Chi Alchemy in Sedona is just around the corner! September 16-18. Yes, there is still time to register, but please let me know soon. They need to prepare for us, so we want to give them time. I have some exciting new stuff to share this year, guaranteed to deepen your practice—whatever it might be. It’s a quick, dependable way to plug into the Big Qi, and it has taken my own martial arts, meditation, and healing to new levels. It’s something your can do… Read More

Now That’s a Year!

Happy New Year! I hope you have been enjoying the holidays and that they have been filled with Love and Light. We had a full house for Christmas for the the first time in a few years, and we had a blast. My granddaughter, Kiara, is seven now and she wanted the NYC tour. We didn’t do it all, but she got an adult dose of the Big Apple. The weather was crazy warm (mid-70s one day) and that brought some unexpected guests–mosquitos! I’m serious. Mosquitos at Christmas! Lots of them. (One persons suggested that they were imported with the… Read More

21st Annual Tai Chi Alchemy. Part 2

What an incredible weekend! We soared so high, it has taken me a couple of weeks to come down enough to write about it. So much of the really important stuff that happens at TCA is too insubstantial to put into words. Things like that blaze of light when a total stranger gives you a hug that melts you to the core of your being…or when you realize that qi is not just something that you read in a book, but is something you can feel and use…or when you find in yourself that person that you always hoped you… Read More
