The Roots of Pointing

A question I often get when showing people how to enhance energetic coherence by pointing is, “Why is it the index finger?” The short answer is, “Because it works.” I’ve tested using other fingers with hundreds of people and the index finger is the only one that does the job reliably. Tai Chi Alchemy at Kripalu Part 2

This was the first trip to Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health for Maria and I. It is one of those legendary institutions, like Esalen and Omega, and we didn’t know what to expect. We weren’t disappointed. The 350-acre campus overlooks Lake Mahkeenac and is just down the road from Tanglewood in the Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts. The seminar we presented was “Tai Chi Alchemy: Get Out of Your Head and Into the Game.” We… Read More

Tai Chi Alchemy Comes to Kripalu, March 18-20

This is one you won’t want to miss: Maria and I will be teaching “Tai Chi Alchemy: Get Out of Your Head and Into the Game,” at Kripalu Yoga in Lenox, MA, March 18-20. Lately, we’ve been refining the process to make… Read More

Both are terms that are helpful in describing whether things are coming together or splitting apart. Any living creature can be said to be coherent just because it is alive. It has wholeness, existence as itself. None have absolute coherence. They are more or less coherent moment-by-moment. When highly coherent there… Read More
